Appraisals by Reyne Hirsch

Appraiser and media personality Reyne Hirsch, is an expert in 20th Century Decorative Arts, and has appraised fine art and collectibles ranging from antique watches to $20 million paintings. Her appraising skills are in high demand by investment firms, high-end estates and charity auctions. Reyne is continuously expanding her expertise into new areas by developing original television programming, authoring trade books and using broadcast media and the internet to connect with an avid, national fan base of collectors.
As the host of the weekly program "The Art of Collecting" on Antiques.com, and a featured blog contributor to The Huffington Post, Reyne spotlights trends, news items, and industry events in the world of antiques and collectibles. She is also a recurring guest on CBS’ The Early Show, can be heard on Martha Stewart Living Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio Network, and a frequent appraiser on PBS’ Emmy-Award-nominated Antiques Roadshow.
Reyne has written for—or been interviewed by—publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, BusinessWeek, Home & Garden, Hemisphere Magazine, Worth Magazine, TV Guide, Family Circle Magazine, Time Out New York, Traditional Home, Romantic Home, Inspire Magazine and The Collectors Weekly. In 2003, Reyne wrote “The Art of Glass” for the Dayton Art Institute, penned the introduction to the new “Warman’s Companion on Watches” and a chapter on investing in Tiffany for the 2009 edition of “Warman’s Antiques and Collectibles.” Her latest book, “Vintage Wristwatches” published by Krause Publications in April 2010, hit bookstores nationwide.
