Bridal Gown Preservation

Bridal wear has been in my family for three generations. It started in the 1940's on the South side of Chicago - my family owned a bridal shop - Sweetheart Bridal. As a family-owned business, it was traditional to 'keep it in the family' and where my mother worked for years, learning all about bridal gowns. Everything from beading to alterations, steaming to preserving, she became quite knowledgeable about the bridal industry and has been involved in this industry ever since. In 1987, my mother and I opened our own bridal boutique in California and where I learned how to prepare gowns for preservation. 22 years later, that same bridal boutique is still in operation.

Passing the family tradition down from generation to generation in bridal wear, is now applicable in my organizing business - assisting my clients in creating a cherished heirloom of their wedding gown for long-term storage. Through my affiliation with my family, I am able to offer gown preservation as an authorized dealer through an industry leader - Wedding Gown Preservation Company.
